Oof. You guys, I haven't ever seen Coco this forlorn. She is healthy and eating and perfectly fine other than maybe her favorite 6-yr-old dimpled wondersheep is not here for her to take care of. Her job is gone, and she really fucking loves that job. Soon, Coco. Soon.
A certain Twin Shadow song turned up on a playlist so I had to turn the car around, drive up the hill and get this shot. Thank you for your genius, George Lewis Jr.
Would you look at these two marvelous assholes.
You can say you “slept in” if you lay in bed AWAKE for an extra 2 minutes. #RealFamilyValues bit.ly/1G0tWyn pic.twitter.com/xAr9y7EV4C
Hairgramming. This time a tiny bit lighter for summer. Thanks again, @emgolie_hair
Another airplane... I feel like I just experienced what everyone hopes to find when they visit NYC, where an unexpected turn down one side alley changes the next four days and possibly years of your life. Such a gift.
And then ending on a cliché by doing this while listening to Jeff Buckley
Getting in a few last deep breaths.
First time I've ever been to this part of the city
Thanks for the shot @alphamom. Had a wonderful lunch topped off by a quick visit to the @mmuseumm, a tiny little corner of wonder tucked into an alley between Franklin St. & White St. in Manhattan. We got to witness an actual baby chick attempting to peck its way out of its egg. She/he was on a shel
NYC at 4 AM. No other way to do this city than to go big and hard and stop right there with your filthy brain.
This is Hal, grumpiest, saddest, most dour baby ever. But for real, he flat out refused to light up the entire room. Come on, Sarah. DISCIPLINE. @ice_rage
An historic day for civil rights. So amazing. Let's hope we can take the momentum and fervor of this and lend it to the still ongoing fight for basic civil rights denied people of color in this country.
Headed in to chat with the good people at Team EMC @everymomcounts. Gorgeous day in NY.
You would be correct if you imagined a cab honking at me from behind
The girls took turns napping in my lap on the plane. So did Wisconsin Wolfie. (the smudges on this kid's glasses, man, it's like she lives in a vat of syrup)

In two nights I say goodbye to them for the longest I will have ever been away from them. Marlo won me over (easily) and gets to sleep nestled into my arm tonight. It won't seem like a good idea at 3AM when her foot is lodged in my nostril, but it will have been the best idea in less than a week whe

Hey, Pop. Thank you for teaching me the value of a firm handshake, a balanced checkbook and finding something in common with any stranger up for conversation. I learned how to tell a story from the best. Also, you looked great when you had hair. Happy Father's Day.
Happy Father's Day to @blurb, the man these two beautiful girls love most in this world.
Saying goodbye to boat life. Thanks for the amazing week, Wisconsin.
