Gasol spoke w/ Phil Jackson & Carmelo about joining the Knicks. He got a text from Phil after picking Bulls telling him he'll love Chicago.
Gasol on helping Mirotic along: "I can relate to what he's going through. I know the importance of having someone you can rely on."
Gasol said Noah's message was that he and the rest of the team are very hungry. "I think we can complement each other very well."
Gasol on Noah's selling of the Bulls: "He's an outgoing guy, very forward. He doesn't sugarcoat much, which I appreciate."
