Ferguson and STL students are remarkable: full of fear, but resilient, wise, hopeful and committed to leading now.
Spent the day listening to students, educators and community organizers in the St. Louis area including Ferguson.
Great to screen "I Learn America" w students. Doc brings attention to how best to serve immigrant student population.
Great to spend time in New Orleans with fantastic teachers and principals who are making a huge difference.
Still a long way to go but tremendous progress in improving educational opportunities in New Orleans.
