All menstruating persons must have access to water and sanitation facilities.   On Menstrual Hygiene Day and every day, UNICEF works to improve access to water and menstrual hygiene services so all menstruating persons can manage their cycle in a dignified, healthy way.
May 28th is Menstrual Hygiene Day!   DYK why it falls on this day? The average duration of a menstrual cycle is 28 days. On average, women and girls menstruate for 5 days per month.   Hence 28 - 5, or May 28th. #MHDay2022
