November 19th, 2012. The day I first started shooting photos. That’s 3,315 days. I say this not to boast, but to explain that to this very day I am always looking at new ways of honing my craft and learning new things.
Having a creative career of any kind, especially freelance is about as non-linear as it gets. I think what I’ve learned the most this year is you really have to love what you do, first and foremost to have any sort of longevity with it.

we are safe but our road trip had a devastating ending 2 days in. stopped at battery spencer Park in SF for five minutes to snap some pictures came back to our car windows smashed, suitcases, cameras, all film, all computers, hard drives, all gone. continued….
