Jere Miles of HSI says at field hearing no women detained in Mississippi raid were breastfeeding. In fact, there was at least one case, widely circulated. She was not only detained, but prosecuted too. She bonded out of criminal custody, but remains detained by ICE.

I hear this a lot, but previous ICE worksite raids resulted in charges against employers. That's likely in the Mississippi case too, though it may take a while because reviewing the evidence they seized takes time. twitter.com/dement_jr/stat…

Judge Gee issued a tentative ruling from the bench blocking the Trump admin's rule, which seeks to detain undocumented children indefinitely. Gee said the rule was inconsistent with the terms of Flores and would not terminate the settlement agreement. A final ruling is expected.

BREAKING- At least 75 people detained in August ICE raids in Mississippi have signed voluntary deportation orders to go back to Guatemala, according to a local priest who works with families of local undocumented immigrants. “They grew desperate after being in jail for weeks.”

The word "problematic" is vague to the point of meaninglessness. There's rarely a good reason to say it, let alone set it in print. Instead, just tell us what the problem is.

Okay this one is funny for 2 reasons, 1) 'it's fine because we believe it is fine' logic and 2) DHS pushing the view that states have no role in enforcing immigration law given, you know, their constant push to make local police their deputies in enforcing immigration law.

Fox News wasn't "excluded." NAHJ just said it won't take Fox’s money, and with good reason. I used to work for Fox News Latino -- a site the company scrapped a month after Trump won -- and I think @NAHJ made a fair call. Fox should heed @HugoBalta’s serious concerns. twitter.com/oliverdarcy/st…
But these things haven't actually happened. Especially the banner claim. Interior deportations stood at 95K last year. That doesn't even hit 2014 levels. We're still in a bull market. No new libel law. There's a wide gap between what Trump says and reality. twitter.com/mviser/status/…

Every time I have heard DHS give stats of “fraudulent families” at the border, the number is different. Regardless, it’s a small fraction of just suspicious families, and somewhere less than 1% of total families coming to the US. Exact % impossible with data they provide.
