This Veterans Day, we honor those who have served. While health outcomes for Veterans are improving, there is still much work to be done. We dedicate ourselves to raising awareness on the health disparities Veterans, a primarily male population, continue to face. #veteransday
We had an incredible session tonight at #APHA22 on Black men’s health. We heard from Dr. Adobi Anakwe on the mental distress of Black fathers during COVID-19, from Dr. Hossein Zare on obesity risk, Okechuka Enyia on cardiovascular care access, and Moacir Barbosa on vax hesitancy.
