baked at 365° for 35min (internal temp 168°) let it rest about 10min and it’s just so damn good. buttery. custardy. rich. crispy on top. lord, i thank you.

cover it up, let it soak overnight in the fridge. remove from fridge an hour before baking, then uncover it and bake at 350° or 375° for about a half hour until golden brown (check it often cuz it will depend on how much you made and what kinda bread you used)
make it a lil gushier than you think you should. it will soak up!
2 whole eggs, 3 egg yolks, heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, pinch of sea salt, brown sugar, vanilla extract (i didn’t measure, sorry). you can add liquor to the custard if you want. pour it over the croissants a little at a time until it’s soaked up.
