TFC ties Montreal, and the formality of playoff elimination is done. Columbus Crew are in, and deservedly so.
Sources have confirmed to me Joe Corona suffered a broken foot. Could miss rest of 2014. My @GoalUSA story: bit.ly/1sVpi1x #USMNT
GOLAZO from Messi to make it 3-0 Barca (Neymar made it 2-0 just a few minutes earlier). Barca-Real Madrid just 7 days away. #CanNOTWait
Watching this TFC-Montreal match in SD reminds me of just how spoiled we are these days to have mostly everything in HD. #FirstWorldProblems
That Messi pass to Xavi was a thing of beauty. Barcelona finally opens the scoring on pesky Eibar, 1-0 in the 60th minute. Great run by Xavi

Klinsmann discusses takeaways from October camp: bit.ly/1vpWK1b#USMNT
Can’t think of how many times this year Portland has had a boatload of chances but couldn’t put any away, or not enough away.
Final- Timbers 0, RSL 0. Nick Rimando a beast in goal and the Timbers pull even with Vancouver, but Whitecaps in control of race for fifth.

Garber bringing up Donovan’s World Cup exclusion was particularly random (and cringe-worthy). All it needed was a Sarah McLaughlin track
Also think it’s funny that anyone really thinks Klinsmann’s job could be in jeopardy. Leagues fighting w/national team coaches is not new
I’m pretty sure Don Garber is feeling pretty good for having held that call, but I don’t really think that call helped MLS look any better.
Garber has a right to defend MLS, but Klinsmann has a right to manage the USMNT team based on his beliefs, and not a pro league’s “vision”
That one made me laugh. Garber demanding that a national team coach not criticize national team players? A tinge of delusion in that comment
Garber: “I am just demanding that he refrain from making comments that are critical of our players and damaging to our league."
Don Garber was FURIOUS on his call about Klinsmann’s comments, but came away feeling like he completely missed the point of said comments.
Don Garber to publicly address Jurgen Klinsmann’s recent comments about MLS & its players in 4pm conference call. This should be interesting

FINAL-USA 1, Honduras 1. Another late lead squandered, and plenty for Klinsmann to ponder on a night with some positives, and some negatives
Miguel Ibarra coming in for Diskerud in the 90th minute, making his USMNT debut.
GOAL Honduras!! And we've got another late equalizer. 1-1. #DejaVu
Panorama view of FAU Stadium in the 76th minute. Lower bowl mostly full. Far cry from mostly empty stadium @ kickoff. pic.twitter.com/VnkLhXL4yF
Michael Bradley leaves for Alfredo Morales. He wasn't sharp tonight, assist aside. He'll benefit from some time off this winter.
That Diskerud dribble definitely had #USMNT fans drooling. Good stuff from him tonight. A third straight good outing.
Tonight's attendance is 14,805. A lot of late arriving folks due to terrible traffic. Decent atmosphere in second half.
Ream, Yedlin and Wood come in for Dempsey, Besler and Zusi. Jones staying on at centerback for now.
Second half is underway. No subs for the #USMNT.
The jinx is officially on. #Kidding RT @PCarrESPN: #USMNT is undefeated in 22 games under Jurgen Klinsmann when ahead at halftime (19-0-3).
Diskerud continuing his good form, looks like a natural linking from defense to attack. Reality is he's not pure #10, but can connect in CM
Solid 45 from Jones at centerback. Looks comfortable there. Klinsmann hoping Jones can put some pressure on other centerbacks in the pool
Whoa, Nick Rimando with a bad giveaway, but Andy Najar can't make the USA pay, sending his shot over. Uncharacteristic mistake from Rimando
