For generations, the Bajau have migrated from The Philippines to Sabah. These two women are descendants of migrants; they speak very little Filipino and call Kota Kinabalu their home. Still, they've lived their entire lives undocumented, inhabiting poor sea houses away from the city's shores.

Give way? Tell that to the people who plan our roads. Nine hours on the road yesterday because of horrendous traffic in Baguio and La Union. I don't think this is what a "booming" economy feels like; more like "bursting at the seams".
Bad photo but this green tea ice cream at Chaya in Baguio is oh my god. (Also at Chaya, some of the best Japanese food I've had in the Philippines.)
