I'm all for rehabilitation and second chances and believe Flower should have benefit of both. But not until he's served more lengthy ban
I think Flower's got off lightly. Maybe I've led a sheltered life but have never seen anything quite that savage in professional sport

Because until PL and FA work together more, kids like Sterling are going to keep getting stuck in middle and everyone loses
Instead of flirting with garbage ideas like B-leagues, Greg Dyke should devote more energy to getting FA and PL to work together.
Sterling issue is a textbook example of one of the reasons why England struggle.
Sterling story not really about Sterling. Not at its heart. It's club v country in all its destructive glory with a kid stuck in the middle

Difficult part is why Sterling's tired. Is he being overplayed? And whose responsibility is it to rest him? Always Hodgson's?
Issue is not whether Sterling is tired. If he's tired, obvious answer is to rest him. That's the easy part.

Sterling is an interesting issue. Our old friend 'club versus country' raising its head again.
Wilshere man of the match tonight. Another excellent display. Getting close to being back to his best.
Raheem Sterling is a teenager. Teenagers do get tired and even moody. He's young, still developing, we should cut him some slack.
