“Art is literacy of the heart.”
— Elliot Eisner
I love being an artist but some times I worry... What if I wasn't good at art? What would I DO with my self?
I’m pretty sure I’m not the first artist to cover up blood that got on my drawing/painting with paint. Pretty sure I am also not the last.
When you are doing a comic collaboration with a friend and everyone wants to join and change the plot.
When people say “draw me something” as if you can have it done in 5 minutes or just magically pull art out of your butt.
Having to explain to people why you have so many pencils.
What’s the most sensible thing you’ve ever heard someone say?

You never living up to your own expectations.
Needing to take a reference photo of a still-life because you are incompetent at drawing in prospective from life.
when your imagination exceeds your talent.
You watch Bob Ross and suddenly everything you’ve ever done is inferior.
When you can’t tell if the hand you’re drawing is too big or too small.
Using certain inks that go through paper so it messes up the other side.
Sketching the same thing over and over in public, because you’re too scared to try something new and mess up when there are people around.
Using newspaper or wrapping paper to draft patterns for clothes because you can’t afford pattern paper.
Planning on having one piece of scrap paper, but ending up with three or four.
Being accused of copying when your work has a similar subject, even though it was just a coincidence.
When you spend more time fantasizing about how to draw something epic than actually working on it.
Ever heard of artistic interpretation? (revised)

People with no understanding of a subject making tutorials about it, thus passing on their own bad habits.
Adapting a new art style but instantly disliking it.
I want to become an artist who makes sculptures of excrement. So when people say “That’s shit,” It’ll be a fact & not an opinion.
thank you for existing. You've given me some hope, now I won't dress up like an ice-cream man and murder countless potatoes.
Ok could somebody finally tell me to whom you have to make a blood sacrifice to be able to color in photoshop?
When you have the outlines of the drawing/character and suddenly forgetting what to do next.
Accidentally smudging a nice pencil drawing.

wow! You are original!...your tweets makes me laugh, awh! and cry!...incredible. Welcome fellow artist!
Feeling like you’re being pushy when you want to show people your art.
When you erase your pencil marks, and the pen ink fades a little.
Some peoples artist abilities seriously just leave me in awe, & I get chills. I want people to have the same reaction to my art.
