Toured Briggs & Stratton in Wauwatosa (they are bringing 370 jobs back to WI) then held WEDC board meeting.
Unlike IL, WI’s pension is fully funded, bond rating is solid and unemployment rate is below 6%.
We turned a $3.6 billion deficit into a surplus, lowered property taxes, froze UW tuition & helped create more than 100,000 jobs.
